Country Style Ribs

Ingredients
- 2lb Country style ribs
- 1 Medium Onion (Chopped)
- 2 Green onions (Chopped)
- 4 cloves Garlic (Minced)
- .25 cup Celery (Chopped)
- .25 cup Bell pepper (Chopped)
- 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley (Chopped)
- 4 tablespoons Butter or oil
- 2 teaspoons Dr. Meaux’s Cajun Recipe Seasoning
- 6 cups Water
Directions
| Step 1 | Season ribs and set aside. | |
| Step 2 | In a large pot, 8 quart or larger, melt butter or heat oil on medium high heat. Brown the ribs well on all sides. | |
| Step 3 | Remove ribs, add vegetables and sauté for a few minutes (just long enough to pick up the juices at the bottom of the pot) | |
| Step 4 | Add ribs and water. | |
| Step 5 | Cover and simmer, adding water as needed till the ribs are tender and gravy is reduced to ¼ inch from bottom of the pot. | |
| Step 6 | Serve with rice and vegetables. |
